Lily Allen and her boyfriend Sam Cooper are to marry after he proposed on Christmas day whilst the couple were away on holiday in Bali.
32 year old Sam Cooper proposed at sunset over the balcony of their £800 a night suite that looked over the Indian ocean at the cliff-top resort of Amankila.
Lily was overcome by Sam's marriage proposal which she accepted and burst into tears.
The couple celebrated until the early ours with hotel guests drinking cocktails and champagne with guests commenting on how the couple were very much in love and Lily herself has described Sam as the love of her life.
This has been a terrible year for Lily and Sam because of Lily's miscarriage but Sam has managed to add some magic to the end of 2010 by this most romantic proposal and we at The Economic Voice would like to congratulate the happy couple and hope they both have a fantastic future together.
Whilst writing this article my 17 year old daughter who celebrates her birthday today asked that her congratulations are sent to Lily who she is a huge fan of (how could I deny her a birthday request?) so a huge congratulations to Lily and Sam from Harriet who says she is Lily's biggest fan.
